The is a "chef's choice" style, which means the customer decides how much she want to spend, and the style of henna she likes. The henna artist then creates a unique pattern, base on traditional designs, to fit your taste & your budget.
This particular henna cost $20 and was drawn to include the clients jewelry in the pattern. You can see that there is a good bit of negative space in the design, which I think makes it visually very attractive.
This pattern was also drawn with the wetter paste, so the henna did take a bit longer to dry on the skin. We used 2009 Jamila Henna, fresh off the plane for this tattoo. We'll see if we get a photo of the finished color.
